What I love even more is when i find an excuse to use them in super cute projects like a yo yo!! i have a really fun idea i'm saving for craft day on thursday - yes, i limit myself to one craft day a week to keep it from being obesssive...anyways, i'm excited to share, but until then, here is the pattern and make something yourself too!!!
Ok, so I thought i'd join this fun craze by making some back to school feather accessories in pretty fall colours. enjoy! they are being sold at the boutique here, for around 15.00 each. Let me know if anyone wants a specific one, because supplies are VERY limited, most of the ribbon is scraps!

And I am sorry to say that i'm looking at this one in real life...and i'm keeping it. it just matches too many of my clothes and is SOOSD FI:OEFJEIOjfl cute i just love it. in fact my mother in law just came down and said it actually hurt her how much she loved it. We took the kids to the NEW ice age movie in 3D, and they had a HOOT! it was SO FUN! i think me and mom liked it more then the kids! Maguire got a little scared when the big dinasoaur came on, he said it was trying to bit him! so cute.
We even let them take the glasses home, even though you're supposed to recycle them at the end. We had to sneak them past the ticket holders, so they stuffed the glasses in their shirts. They had a blast!
I know what you're thinking, what the heck is that stuff? well so were me and Kennedy when we walked out of the grocery store after only 15 minutes. It is the weirdest stuff ever, kinda like glue that was tacky-like. And it did NOT come off, even after a thourough car wash. Before i got really upset though, our neighbor came over and used some tar remover to get it off without wreaking the paint job. We are still mystified over what the heck this stuff is!!!
Just my day off, craftin and watching a little twilight. I made 40 sets of these little hair clips, and i'm guna sell them in the boutique out here, i forgot to take a picture of how she is displaying them, it is so cute! But i'll remember next time.
